How do Schedules work?
Children thrive on routines - Mobicip Schedules help ensure their screen time follows the same gentle structure.
Here’s how they work:
Default rules apply
By default, the rules you created for your child’s regular apps, web, and screen time (set under Rules) apply all day — including Schedules. This keeps screen time management simple and consistent.

- Turn on Managed Schedule for more customization
If you want a different set of rules during a specific time, you can create a Managed Schedule during that time.
When Managed Schedule is turned ON, you can:
- Customize apps & web rules or
- Block all screen time entirely or
- Give extra screen time (additional minutes on top of the daily limit)

Access Requests
If you approve access to a blocked website or app during a managed schedule, the approval applies only during that schedule.
The same goes for unmanaged time/schedule — approvals made during regular schedules apply only during that specific schedule.
- Schedules run automatically
Mobicip automatically applies the set rules during each managed schedule. When the schedule is not managed or when the managed schedule ends, your child’s regular rules apply.
If you prefer to turn off a schedule temporarily, you can disable it anytime and re-enable it whenever you need.
- Calendar View - Everything stays organized
The new Mobicip Calendar view shows active schedules for each child, so you can quickly see each of your children’s schedules.

Your child can also view their schedules on the Child App dashboard, helping them follow their routine.
