How to reassign a device to another child?

You can reassign a device to a different child either from the parent app or directly from the child’s device.

For iOS and Android Devices

From the Parent App:

1. Go to My Family and select Family Devices.
2. Select the device you want to reassign the child.
3. Choose the new child from the Device used by list and tap Save.

4. That’s it! The device is now assigned to the new child.

   

From the Child’s Device:

1. Open the Mobicip app on the child’s device.
2. Tap the Hamburger menu (☰) in the top left corner and select Change User.

3. Enter your Mobicip account credentials to confirm the change.

   

Once authenticated, the device will be reassigned to the selected child.

For Mac and Windows Devices

Mac and Windows devices can only be reassigned directly from the device itself.

1. Open the Mobicip app on the device.
2. Log in using your Mobicip account credentials.
3. Select the account and choose the child profile you want to assign the device to.
4. Click Save.

The device will now be linked to the newly selected child profile.
