Why can't I install Mobicip on my child's school email account on a Chromebook?

A Google account can be managed by only one administrator at a time. If your child’s Chromebook account is already managed by their school, Mobicip may not be able to monitor or manage the account unless the school administrator allows third-party extensions like Mobicip.

In this case, you may need to contact the school IT administrator to check whether Mobicip can be allowed on the device.

As an alternative, you can create a separate personal Google account for your child to use at home and install the Mobicip extension on that account instead. Follow the instructions in this tutorial to set up Mobicip on the personal account.
