This article gives you a quick overview of how to get started with Mobicip. Setting up and using Mobicip is simple. Here's a quick guide to get you started right away.

1. Create your Mobicip Account:
Create a Mobicip account on our website or through the Mobicip parent app available for iOS and Android mobile devices.
You can also invite another parent or admin to help monitor and manage your child’s devices.
Now it’s time to add your child. Enter your child’s name and birth date, then choose whether you’d like to Monitor and Manage or Monitor Only. You can always customize the filter settings, screentime limits, and other settings later from your parent app or the web dashboard.
Repeat the process for all your children.
Click 'Next' to complete the account set up. You’ll be taken to the Mobicip Highlights, where our mascot Eva will guide you through the menu and introduce the app’s key features.
2. Choose a Plan:
Click “Upgrade Now” from your Highlights and choose the plan that best fits your family’s needs. If you’d like advanced features such as app time limits or category limits - Social Media, Entertainment, and Games, or social media monitoring, we recommend the Premium Plan.
Next, enter your payment details to start your free trial. Don’t worry — your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. If Mobicip isn’t the right fit for your family, you can cancel anytime by contacting us at support@mobicip.com.
In the next step, you will have the option to refer Mobicip to your friends or family. As a token of our appreciation, you'll receive a $20 Amazon gift card for every successful referral, and your friend will get 10% off on their first year’s subscription.
Ready to start protecting your child online? You’re almost done with setup. All you need to do is link your child device's to start monitoring.
3. Set up your Child's Devices:
Managing your child’s screen time and online activity can feel overwhelming — but getting started with Mobicip is easy.
To begin monitoring your child’s device, install the Mobicip app on each device you want to protect. Select the device type below to watch the installation videos and follow the setup steps.
All set! Here’s how you can monitor and manage your child’s internet activity and screen time from your device.
4. Set up the Mobicip app:
Manage your child’s monitoring settings anytime, from anywhere, right from your phone or tablet. With the Mobicip Parent app, you can stay updated on your child’s activity, review requests, and customize settings on the go.
Download the Mobicip app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and set it up in Parent Mode.
Quick Peek at What You Can Do:
1. Review your child’s activity from the Highlights by tapping View Activity Timeline. You can view recently visited websites, app usage, watched videos and location history.
2. Set up Rules for each child by allowing or blocking web categories, websites, phrases or keywords, specific apps, or app categories like Social Media, Games, and Entertainment — all from one place.
3. Set Schedules for activities like school, and homework to ensure mindful learning and healthy habits. With Managed Schedules, you can block specific apps and websites during a schedule.
4. Set daily screen time limits to manage how long your child can use their device each day.
